I graduated from University of Delaware with a BSN and began my career (and spent many years) working in Ortho/Trauma at Morristown Medical Center. But after the birth of my first baby and our MANY breastfeeding challenges, my passion for BF came to light. So I left the bedside and transition into pediatrics in a local pediatricians office within the Atlantic Health system,  while working towards my IBCLC, through University of California San Diego's IBCLC program. I quickly transitioned into my lactation role as a Lactation Consultant seeing both postpartum and outpatient clients, as well as teaching childbirth education and parenting classes at Hunterdon Medical Center.

I have a huge passion for lactation, and continue my education regularly, taking courses from leading experts in the field such as the Master Class on Oral Habitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad. And attending the annual GOLD lactation conference – where leaders discuss the most recent research and developments in the lactation world. Things are always changing in medicine and Its my goal to learn the most current information to share with you.

Most Importantly, I am a mother to three beautiful strong little girls who always keep me on my toes.  We  spend lots of time outdoors and traveling whenever we can.
